Zweigelt
A lesser-grown varietal in BC, Zweigelt offers aromas of ripe blueberry, plum, black cherry, fig and vanilla. The palate is round and smooth as the ripe strawberry, prune plum and mixed berry fruit combines with the soft acidity, giving a rich texture that lingers through the finish. Enjoy with homemade pizza on the grill, pastas, lighter meats and vegetarian dishes. This wine can be enjoyed on its own, as a sipper.
