Kerner 2014 Sold Out!

Sorry, this wine is sold out!

An intense nose with ripe peach, tropical mango and papaya along with melon and honey poached pear. An off-dry palate balanced by crisp acidity and savoury spice, apple peel and citrus peel on the finish. Lovely fruit followed by a crispness that will keep you fully refreshed and will stand up to hot pepper and spice.

Located on the valley floor below Macintyre Bluff, Oliver BC, our small 3.41 acre estate vineyard was blessed with 1,699 growing degree days in 2014. Sunshine followed with exhaustive canopy management produced quality mature grapes at harvest.

Our dreams became reality after more hard work on September 22, 2014 when the first grapes were harvested-Kerner. The grapes were de-stemmed and fermented cold in stainless steel tanks. Blending and bottling took place mid September 2014 to bring our dream to your table.

Bronze – All Canadian Wine Championships 2016, Cherry Hill, Ontario.

  1. John Ness

This is a bold, even full-bodied, white with 14.7% alcohol but with such fruit intensity that the alcohol is not evident on the juicy palate. The wine begins with aromas of nectarine and peach and delivers flavours of peach and apple. There is just a hint of sweetness on the finish. 90. – John Schreiner. June 15, 2016
