Merlot 2015

Tasting Notes

A ripe and rich Merlot with aromas of dark chocolate, vanillin oak, sun ripened plum, g and black cherry along with a refreshing note of dried wild herbs in the background. The palate is full bodied with a rich texture and lots of ripe blackberry, dried plum and cocoa. Well structured tannins meet bright acidity, and a peppery finish.

Try with your favourite burger, creamy cheese, or other roasted meats.

Lean and medium-bodied, the wine has aromas of black currants. On the palate, there are bright, fruity flavours of lingonberry, blueberry and black currant. 90. – John Schreiner. June 15, 2016
